Maintaining the charm of the original 1960’s Mk1 while adding a modern drivetrain, optional A/C, freeway gearing, and the vintage 10” wheels. This is perfect blend of style and technology. This lovely 1962 Mk1 is offered with 10” wheels adorned with custom arches while the original 30hp A series motor was replaced by a modern 150hp D16 honda engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Upgrades include air conditioning, Morel Hidden wireless sound system, and more. This ground up build has been on display at the Quail car show in Carmel and was one of our most popular creations. Build #48 was completed late 2020 and has been stored in a climate controlled garage and driven less than 3000 miles.
